Smart Project Management Assistance

Our project aimed to bridge the gap between the invoiced revenue and the projected revenue estimates. To achieve this, we designed a platform location that helps the experts manage their ongoing projects efficiently. By doing so, they will be able to identify the crucial factoras that ensure timely and accurate invoicing, resulting in the complete value of the contract being realized.

What problem were we solving?

  • It was concerning to see that some of our experts were not billing the full value as estimated in their contracts.
  • We understood that without clear guidance, it could be difficult to know exactly what steps to take to ensure billing accurately and fairly.
  • We wanted to make sure that all of our experts felt confident and supported in their work, and we were committed to finding a solution to this issue.

Impact and ROI

[FEATURE is in FLIGHT… collecting user data as soon as it is available]

In order to achieve our Q4 goals, we need to reduce the number of hourly projects that have not been logged for 15 days of the current month by 20%, with an average of 807 projects.

Additionally, we aim to decrease the number of active hourly projects that have less than 40% of IR:PR logged for 15 days of the current month by 20%, with an average of 949 projects.

Constraints & Trade-offs

Push for Max ROI
In our research, we indicated there was a large gap of missed revenue due to inefficient project support on behalf of the company. Oversight within the funnel created a buzz at all levels with uncertainty playing the main character. Our team went to work digging into the data around the problem space and was able to shape a significant ROI forecast.

The goal was to increase the percentage of invoiced revenue to project revenue from 82%, which was based on September, to 85%.

Determining User Needs

As a freelancer, it is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of the contract’s scope when engaging with a client. They should be able to record the time spent working on the contract using the Paro time-tracking feature. Moreover, it would be beneficial for them to have a progress indicator that visually represents the project’s advancement. The expert should have the authority to manage the status of their active projects while collaborating with Paro.

As an internal user of our business, we require our experts to provide weekly updates on the progress of their ongoing projects. It is crucial for these experts to regularly check in and efficiently log their time to ensure accurate capture of the contract’s full financial value by the company.
